Sensational Sentences!

We have been working very hard on writing sentences that are written corretly. Yesterday we were given a picture to give us ideas for our sentences. Some of us wrote simple, compound and complex sentences! Have a look at our wonderful work.

Sarah: It started to rain, so they could not go to the park.
Siena: They are at the restaurant, though their food is taking a long time.
Tamara: After the children had finished playing with the frisbee, their mother told them they had to go.
Pierce: When they arrived at their house, they started talking about which school they were going to go to.
Lily: After the kids arrived back home, it was lunch time.
Mason: The two kids are going to the oval to play soccer.
Liam: The twins are going to their grandparents house, because their house is infested with bugs.
Alyssa: It is nearly Winter, so they are going to the park for the last time.
Nicholas: They had so much fun, until the girl started vomiting from the Rotor.
Bradley: Though it started to rain, the two friends still had fun outside playing frisbee.
Lara: When the boy and girl came out of the car, the girl had a flower on her head.
